There were 43 health workers who were arrested in Morong, Rizal last February 6. They were suspected as NPA, and were arrested by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
The AFP said that they were members of the New People’s Army (NPA). They also claimed that workers were undergoing training for bomb-making and that bomb-making materials were found under their beds. The military stick to this allegation even it was found out that among those arrested were doctors, one of which is a senior citizen. The AFP went to the extent of producing a witness who also claimed that those arrested were members of the NPA.
Therefore, again this is the result of of the government system that we are living in. We have all the freedom, but it seems that we don't have the right to voice out or defend our self before accusing us. This will not only happen to those health workers but also to anyone of us.

The Reason Behind
Seeing and reading the different headlines in newspapers, and the huge issues tackled in different news publications I noticed that even having the same subject that is being written they expresses different thought and opinions, Opinions that will lead us to think about the different problem that we encounter everyday of our life.
Poverty, massacre, and other issues being written in the news is just a result of our government system nowadays. It only shows that politics runs in our blood as Filipino people. We are ready to do everything, even if we hurt our fellow men just to be in the highest position that we are aiming for. It is also shown in the news today that history repeat itself due to the fact that we inherit the traits of our ancestors and former leader that they do things which is not right just to be in the position.
The issues being tackled in different publications only shows that what we are experiencing right now is the product of misgovernment. It also shows that we don’t have a good leader and competent for the position to run a country.
Every writer and member of the society is much more aware of our politics right now. The problems that are being tackled in different universities only remind us they are concerned on what is happening to our country. That they are not afraid to voice out what their opinion is regarding the issues
